Innovate and Improve Your Packaging Design Project

Packaging design is very important to the success of a product. Having an attractive and informative packaging design can increase the sales of the company’s products in the market. In addition, the placement of the bar code symbol on the packaging should also be both aesthetic and within the printing specification required for a “good” scan. However, re-designing a packaging can be costly to many small companies.

To assist GS1 Malaysia subscribers that are Small Medium Industries (SMI) to improve their packaging design, GS1 Malaysia is having a collaboration project with KBU International College. The college design students will help the companies to improve their packaging design with innovative ideas. There will be a small charge to cover the expenses in designing the packaging. All participating companies would be required to sign an agreement between themselves and the student on the rights of the design. As there are limited resources for the project, the selection of the companies to participate will be decided by GS1 Malaysia and KBU.
